go to his games. The problem is that our toddler is very difficult during the games and one of us ends up missing most of the game. Does anyone have any ideas for entertaining him and still allowing both parents to watch the game? We don't have access to a sitter during this time. Please help. Thanks!

You'll have to continue to take turns watching him with hubby....it's just part of having more than one kid. We have three and sometimes one of us has to miss part of our son's games to take the younger ones to the bathroom, etc.

Some things you can do/take along with you to keep him busy so you miss less.....

blow bubbles with him
take a picnic with you and a blanket to spread out
take a ball for him to play with near you
coloring book and crayons
teach him to cheer for big sibling
toy camera so he can pretend to take pictures of the game like mom and dad may do
make friends with other team parents who also have younger sibs along that your toddler can play with

I bring a soccer ball for the kids, how about a folding chair just for the toddler- like those cute Disney ones. Favorite snacks always help. I pretty much think of anything I can- toys that he/she can play with while on the sidelines- have him bring a car/truck and some people and pretend they are on a road trip.

For me though, the folding chairs and snacks really help.

Bring a portable crib and fill it with toys. Bring a stroller and give him something to drink/eat. Try to get him interested in the game. Tell him "Try to find sissy on the field"
