People (not me) enjoy the taste of fried chicken because it has been produced with extensive preservatives and other chemicals, not to mention oil. Also, it's not really the chicken you're tasting. As with KFC, you are actually eating fried breaded chicken fat. All these thing help intensify the taste and make them more "appealing."

Why in the hell would it be "A RACIST QUESTION"????

I'm Euro-American (as opposed to African-American, or Chinese-American, or any other ridiculous hyphenated tag to denote what we all are: American)...and I LOVE fried chicken.

It may be the flavor of the chicken fat.
Maybe its the spices.
Maybe just because its FRIED!

But I love fried chicken.
And I'll take a side of mashed potatoes with brown gravy, some beans and slaw.
Fried - yum!
Not extra crispy...I'll take original recipe if its KFC.
Fry, fry, Baby!

I am Hispanic and I love fried chicken. My son loves it too and he is bi-racial. We love it because it taste good, although it isn't all that healty with all that grease, but is the only food I can think off that transcends both race and economical status.

It tastes so good. Especially if fried in fat instead of vegetable oil.

Because it retains it's fatty flavour and many people enjoy it. Unlike grilled or ovened....loses it's excess fat, but still tastes delicious
