You know what, I asked myself the same question: "Did I forget how to have fun?"I couldn't understand how I became the way I did. I use to be the highlight of the parties, when people were sitting down, I made them get up and dance and have fun, now I'm one of those people sitting alone , not saying a word.I finally came to the conclusion, that I am older and my priorities have changed. My friends are older. The things I thinks is fun, they've grown out of. SO I decided, I am going to spot out the people who are loud and outgoing, as they are very sociable and easy to talk to. When I go to a house party, I start chatting to complete strangers, but always end up having more fun, than any of my friends. Your surroundings matches your mood. For instance, say you have responsible mature friends and they dont like clubbing or parties, dont let that stop you.Make friends who like that. Say your room is dull and boring, you are going to feel boring. Paint the walls a wacky bright color and you'll see how your mood changes. Throw out all those sad, depressing cd's and get some up beat happy music. The hardest part is making friends, but dont be shy, just be yourself, but the happy positive you. You'll see it works!!

Yes they can.I have a friend(guy)who has been hurt so much in life,he has never been lucky with women as most who have passed thru his life just see him as a pay bag,he has a great heart but with all these circumstances he just turns to his work and spends his weekend meeting immediate family reponsibility. He trys his best to avoid social gathering and meeting new friends. He tries to make him home a little heaven so he needs no going out.Thats near isolation in forgeting to have fun.It take so much for me to make him smile or laugh.Another means of forgeting how to have fun is going on a drinking sphere any avaliable time, most people have come to see having fun as excess drinking and smoking, clubbing and wild parties,i call that running away from urself.
Fun is when u're truely happy around people without been intoxicated by any means or shying away from been happy.
