She had coccadia. The vet gave her medicine for the coccadia and her diarhea. We are on the 10th and final day of treament. After starting the treament she was eating like a normal dog, excited about food and couldn't wait. It was a mix of her puppy hard food from the breeder and a/d (mixed wet food) from the vet.
Then on the 4th day of treament we were told to start giving her i/d (help her stool form more - it look more like chicken and rice) mixed with her hard food. She loved it. We just returned to work on Tuesday and yesterday, Wednesday's dinner (3rd meal of the day) she only ate 1/2 of her meal. This morning (1st meal) she only ate 1/4. The vet's office told us ID is very bland and to try just feeding her only puppy food. I have given her tiny amount of treats (TINY) like crumbles less than a 1/4 inch in amount. She went crazy when I open up the container yesterday evening. Is she comparing her food with the treats? Or it he ID just bland.
VANA is just over 8wks.

The ID is bland. I would do as the vet recommends and just the puppy food. You can always mix a little ID in with it.

The important thing is to make sure that baby is eating. I would even check with your vet and see what they recommend to get your little one to eat more.

You might want to try this home remedy to help get rid of any other parasites that may not have been taken care of with the medication that the vet gave you and it will also help with fleas:
Try this remedy every month or so to help keep rid of worms. Put 4 cloves of chopped garlic in a pan and pour 1 cup boiling water over the garlic and let it sit overnight. After straining the liguid, mix with your dog's dry food the next day and give smaller amounts of food then normal to ensure that the animal eats all the food.
Try this for about a week.

This may sound cold to some but I grew up in a house with a Great Dane. My father fed that dog once a day at night. That Dog eat like a horse and he did get more then enough food at that one meal. He was extremely healthy since he was outside in our back yard most of the day. Trust me that dog was NEVER hungry. Even now i feed my dogs once a day. They do get treats early in the morning but they still eat just once a day, and they too are very healthy. I think feeding them just once a day does make them a little more hungrier but they pretty much finish their plate every time. I don't ever worry about my dogs and how much they eat. As long as you know they have available to them what they require let them eat as much as they know they need.

happy cooking.

do what the vet says, it is most likely bland. just make sure she eats, that is the most important thing in recovery, as well as treatment.
