Apologize. It will take time but if you show the other person that you can be trusted again it may return.

Is this person really hurt because of your lie? If so, It's going to take a while before that person can trust you again. If you want to regain his/her trust again you have to prove that person that you are truly sorry that you lied and that you learned from your lie that "honesty is the best policy." Don't Lie Again!

You must have said something pretty rotten for them to not want to talk to you or trust you again.
It will take a lot of patience on your part and a lot of trying on the other persons part. If it was a woman- hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. If it was a guy, it's really hard to say because they can be moodier than women it seems these days.
Just explain that you know that what you did/said was wrong, apologise and ask if they can forgive you and to possibly be able to trust you again.
Good luck.

While it does depend on the lie, I have to be honest by saying that when someone lies to me, it takes me a long time to trust them....they have to prove to me....I can forgive right away, usually, but trusting takes time, Sorry.....My feelings were hurt realy bad,,,,,,,Time Span........can't say.....Just time

Be brave, look them in the eye and admit to them, with firm eye contact, that you lied. Look them straight in the eye and tell them how sorry you are and vow never to lie again. Implore them to forgive you and believe you that you are sorry and will never do it again. It's all about being passionate and credible when you apologize!

don't ever lie to yourself.you can't just win their trust that easy...just be what you are, action speaks louder than words.they'll be able to see if you are sincere and sorry about what you did,be the best of whatever you are.always take into considerations others feelings, that way they'll know that they can trust you again.

You give them a genuine heartfelt apology that demonstrates that you are truly repentant. Then you give it time and hope they have a forgiving nature. Oh, and don't do it again.
