Religion is a manmade concept, maybe thats why there are so many, because everybody wants something that fits there fancy.
But instead of Religion I would think a true christian should only believe in SALVATION!

ONE Faith, Many Religions -

There are many religions (as an example - Gal.1:13 below, the Jews’ religion), but one faith (Eph.4:5 below).

Eph.4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

When we are baptized into Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit we BECOME a “new creature” (2 Cor.5:17, Gal.6:15 below). We become, individually, as well as collectively, the living body of Christ (Col.1:24 below). We become the church of God (1 Cor.10:32 below, 1 Cor.1:2, 1 Cor.15:9, Gal.1:13), the one faith (Eph.4:5 above).

2 Cor.5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he IS a new creature (Gal.6:15 below): old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Gal.6:15For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature (2 Cor.5:17 above).

Col.1:24Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body's sake, which IS the church (1 Cor.10:32, Gal. I:13, 1 Cor.1:2).

1 Cor.10:32Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God (Eph.2:16 below).

Eph.2:16 And that he might reconcile BOTH (Jews and Gentiles - 1 Cor.10:32 above) unto God in one body (the church of God - 1 Cor.10:32 above) by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Gal.1:13For ye have heard of my (Paul's) conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God (1 Cor.10:32 above), and wasted it.

It shouldn't really be a debate. Christianity is a religion. The problem is that when people think of religion, they think of Christianity, not other religions as well, so Christianity gets targeted and labeled as the bad guy. They pay attention to all the bad things in Christianity, and not the good things. Maybe that will add some insight.

I am a Christian. Our religion brings salvation - so I'd think you'd have to believe in both. People can't find that salvation without exploring our religion first - especially the Bible.

Do you see where I am going with this? Does it make sense?

Why might I flame you? Your theory of greater than a number of Christians are undesirable, i'm sorry you have been flamed by some "Christians" contained in the previous yet I won't do this =) So there are various people who do incorrect issues that they suspect to be precise. That became the way it became for the Christians and the community individuals. The Christians of that element did no longer rather could wisdom or wisdom as we did. additionally, remember that the guidelines of society and precise vs. incorrect became very very distinctive from that's now. i'm ashamed of my ancestors for doing that to the community individuals. First evolution ability that one being is changing to an entire different being. there is not any info of that for the duration of contemporary cases. there is info that a species adapts distinctive characteristics so as to stay to tell the tale. it rather is termed version and maximum Christians do no longer dispute version. the two aspects are closed minded to different's ideals, that isn't in any respect substitute. medical "info" has in no way pointed me in yet another direction. I even have studied and introduced the comparable training as you have, yet I nonetheless see no info. With the Begotten undertaking, it incredibly is something that no human can ever wrap their brains around. that's the comparable in that people can no longer think of that area is going on and on and on and has no end. besides the indisputable fact that, human beings do no longer dispute that. properly for one the Bible ought to no longer in all probability have been written by one guy at one time. examine have shown that the bible is distinctive books that variety over years and years of time, however the tale keeps to be the comparable. the only answer I even have on your questions in this paragraph is: faith. You the two have it or you do no longer and that i do exactly. it is so user-friendly as that. i'm hoping I helped. =)

You are right... true Christian believe in Salvation. But Worship is a God commandment... "You will not worship other gods."
Religion is a different deal altogether.

BUT "Where 2 or more are gather He is among you"

Christians are not meant to be alone. There is great joy & comfort in studying God's word together & the worship is powerful.
Blessed be ^i^

I suppose it depends on your definition of 'religion.'

According to the Bible, my religion is visiting widows and orphans (James 1:27). I follow Christianity, which is not man-made but from God (Galatians 1:11-12). It is only by means of Christianity that one can have salvation (John 14:6).

I do not think a lot of Christians or Non-Christian understand what TRUE religion is according to the Bible.

James 1:26-27
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

27Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

No. Christianity is NOT a religion.

It's a relationship with God.

I'm a Christian and follow the teachings of Jesus. That doesn't mean I subscribe to the teachings of "organized religion".
