Actually grass is green because it is to do with the wavelengths of light absorbed by the atoms in the leaves. The sky appears blue because of the spacing between the atoms in the air causes the light to diffract and the blue light (remember that light is made up of all the colours of the rainbow, kind of) becomes more visible. A blueberry is blue for the same reason grass is green. Mind you that doesn't answer Why is a blueberry blue, only how.

Actually they're not really blue as such, more like a shade of purple with a greyish 'bloom' on the skin which distorts the colour. Also, when you smash them you'll notice that the juice is either purple red (real wild blueberries) or greenish (bush blueberries).

Huckleberries are a gorgeous purple blue, but blue is a less popular colour for berries then red. Red stands out more. Maybe red berries need to pass through the digestive system of a bird or animal to germinate?

i'd just like to add, in response to justXaXlilXemoXkid 's comment
"hel l thats basicly like asking why is the sky blue or the grass green." that there is a very good reason for both of your supposedly unanswerable points:
grass absorbs every colour in the spectrum except green, which it reflects, and therefore that is the colour our eyes see.
the sky is blue for a similar reason. Suggested Reading:
