I do. If the fundamentalist don't like what I wrote than I am confident that I have the right idea. I mean you know by the question just who will not like your answer and who will.I like to do ratings too. Some answers I just skim though. If I can see that there is a bible verse quoted, I usually won't even read the answer and that one will get a thumbs down.

I do. It usually means that the Trolls know you are out of their league so they don't wanna get out argued by you. At this point, they settle for hit and run tactics like making a snide remark that can be rebutted (Like "Increase your meds dosage") or a thumbs down.

They know that if they attack what you say directly, debate style, then you can come back disprove their claim and make them look stupid in front of everyone. Like they need any help in that department.

Just because someone quotes a bible verse does not mean they are wrong. If someone takes the time to answer your question, the least you can do is take the time to read the answer. And no, you do not necessarily have the right idea just because a fundamentalist doesn't like it. It sounds to me like you only believe in bashing people with religious beliefs. I wonder, do you have any beliefs of your own?

By the way, I am an athiest.

No that is totally wrong. You shouldn't give a thumbs down if a Bible verse is quoted or if encouragement is shown from other believers in Christ. People try to show their love to others the same way Christ Jesus showed His love to us.

All categories are valid. If this were the Christian section, I would say yes, but I find spirituality interesting and enjoy enlightening others.

I've stopped really caring about the ratings. They're biased and pointless.

If you ask an intelligent, respectful question, I'll probably give you a thumbs-up. If you don't want a Bible answer to a Bible question, why even post here?

By your question you admit how limited your ability to accept other views is.

By this you happily profess your ignorance to questions or responses.

So, without considering intaking of any other knowledge or opinion of others, limits your ability to think.

That is certainly seeing the sunny side of things! I like your line of thought!

I even take bad and hateful responses as a good thing too. That means I have disturbed someone into seeing things from the Christian point of view. They don't always like it - hence the hateful remarks.

Good question! I'll give you a thumbs up! Or perhaps you would like a thumbs down?! Either way, take it as a compliment!

Good for you. But if I see a Bible verse quoted, then that's the one I go for. It usually means they're serious and that they're not just talking crap.
