How come he never calls? I put my phone number in the plate they pass around in church, and an angry woman called who said she was the pastor's wife. Why am I not allowed back?

I am sure He has called you, but you weren't listening. You can do something about it now, or wait till you die and talk to Him, but that won't be a good time for you.

I hear his long distance service got cut off. Some kind of billing error, I'm sure.
Maybe the pastor's wife thought Jesus might use her phone to call (since that's where you left the phone number)....and then she'd have to pay the phone bill.

Jesus does not necessarily call you on the phone in your house, but Jesus speaks to you in different ways. The best way to communicate with God is through prayer! Ask Him to speak to you and He will. God speaks to people in their sleep, like he did with Joseph and Mary in the Bible through dreams; sometimes you can hear his voice, like Moses, or sometimes He will send others to speak to you through other people, like the prophets. Some people might deceive you, but ask God to show you when He is talking to you; deepen your faith in Christ more. Don't forget, all this is done through prayer and perseverance! Also, pray for the Pastor's wife. Jesus loves you! If He didn't love you, then why would John 3 v 16 exist? Jesus says that God loves the world so much that He sent His only Son. Remember Jesus is God! You are precious in the eyes of God...trust in Him!

because religion is screwed up. someone who would tell you that you are not allowed back seems to be taking on the role of the Lord Himself. isn't that wierd? i love the Lord, and pursue Him every day, but i steer clear of religion for reasons like that. don't worry about not being allowed back, you shouldn't be a part of a Church that plays God anyway. good luck
