You don't need an attorney for this at all ... go to http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/ and download the relevant form ... it will give you all the information you need. Absolutely no need for lawyers if you don't have any particular problems ... if it's a straightforward fiance petition (which is better than spousal if you ask me), just fill in the forms and send in the paperwork yourself .... good luck!

Each state has a legal services which charges a very
minimal fee. Check it out in your area.

I have used this service, and was assigned an attorney, who
had been a local judge.

It very useful for me.

legal aid is for indigents people however the local bar association at time will select a pro bono attorney to help you out

You can first try Legal Aid. If they can't handle it, they'll refer you to an immigration attorney and it will be up to you to try and negotiate the fee.

isnt there public lawyers for free there? there is in canada.
