ask yourself the question, do i want to go out with him?
the first response is usually the truest. if your on here askin advice, then it would seem you are at least open to it, yes? just a little unsure right? well, how about why not...if it doesnt work out, no harm no foul right? dont see the harm in having one date. use that one date so see if you like him

Awww...sounds like what I went though! I met my guy 4 yrs. ago and we dated for 2 months. Well, he was still immature and became an a$$ so I dumped him. Then the past 2 yrs. he was trying to get back with me. Telling me that if I gave him one more chance....Like you said, when I was around him I wasnt for sure but when not around I thought about how much fun we have together and he would make a great b/f. A few months ago I gave in and said ok. I wish I would have made that decision 2 yrs ago b/c I would have avoided some drama that I went through. Good luck

Try it out. At least you know him for the most part and he is not a complete stranger that you have nothing in common with, but don't find that out until you waste your time on a date! If things don't click romantically, have a clause or disclaimer with him stating you all can return to friends.

The answer is yes or no.
If you've had that feeling all these years but could not express it until now (that the obstacles have been removed) then it is time to set your feelings free. Yes, go for it.

But if you are still confused, you probably need time to think it over.

I would try going on a real date. Like you would any other prospective man. Talk to him and tell him your interested in trying to date. See what it is like and if he is a true friennd and things don't feel right you should be able to tell him that.

Nothing wrong with a date - its not like you agree to marry him.
You never went on a date with him? So this might actually be an eyeopener - go'n get him tiger ;)
