Good will the salvation army or an area homeless shelter. They all take used items and you brinigng joy full circle. You or your child enjoyed them an dnow you are spreading that joy to others and you're doing a good thing! Plus I know at Goodwill you get a tax decduction. Good luck finding new homes for your stuffed babies ;)

Do you have like a Good will or a Free Store you can drop the stuffed animals to? If not check your local hospital, maybe they could use them for sick children. Very nice of you to donate them.

I would call any of the places that the others suggested but some will most likely turn them down. It seems unfortunate but they are concerned with spreading lice. They don't know anything about those that donate them and they have to assume any stuffed toy could possibly carry them.

Salvation Army, also try the local children's cancer ward, or call the local social work office that deals with abused children, or children who are in care of the state, etc.

You should be able to find your local branch through a google search with the name of your town and 'child welfare' (or something similar) as the search terms.

Give them to a homeless shelter that has children or donate them to the Katrina Fundraisers for the children that lost everything! They accept anything! or if u have a thrift store near u drop them off there! I always drop mine off at a homeless shelter by me. So good luck!

A police station will take them as long as they are in good shape. They will hand them out to youngsters that are in need of a huggable friend when they are in a situation that the police are involved in.

How about the local children's hospital, or the ems service. when they arrive on the scene of an accident or other tragedy where children are involved, they will use them to comfort young children

Find a local church or your police department will also use them I don't believe in giving to groups who will resale it to make money. The police department uses it when they have domestic violence calls and children are present.
good luck
