No. It will drive you crazy from boredom and will not have the balance of nutrients you need to keep your body growing or maintaining itself.

It would depend on the type of food being consumed. Something such as bananas would be a constant source of calories and carbohydrates (primarily sugar), but would lack the necessary proteins unless you ate them in vast amounts (by the tonne). In contrast tuna would provide a lot of needed protein, but lack needed vitamins. It also depends on how the food is served. Raw tuna from a can will contain more fats and oils than tuna that has been baked/cooked. Generally speaking it's not advised to eat only one type of food, unless you are also taking supplements in addition to this to replace any vitamins/minerals/proteins missing from your diet, and even then down the line you would eventually start having health problems.

Not for a long period of time, your body needs a balanced diet to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Yes tuna and bananas are good for you but you need more vitamins.

Not for a significant amount of time. There isn't any one food that will provide you with all the body needs to function well and properly, so eventually signs of vitamin and mineral deficiencies would start occuring, if you limited yourself to just one particular food item...

....not to mention, it probably wouldn't take long for you to get tired of that item, and eventually come to actually dislike it.

You can, but you would need other nutrients eventually.

There have been fad diets through the years, like Eggs only and Rice only and last year a man was on television showing that all he ate for a year was McDonalds burgers.

of course you can but you take on the propertys of the food, hence if you only eat tuna, you would probably want to spend all day ayt the local pool, if you eat bananas you would always be looking for your four skin to peel back.

cheers

Your body needs more that one type of food. If you find something that contains protein, minerals, vitamins, carbs, sugar, water and all the rest...well then you can!
