around the thighs and near the upper part of the buttocks where the spine meets. Can this be something other than genital warts? No sign of abuse, thank god.

The child has seen a doctor and everything is intact. The doctor also thought this was strange since their where no signs of abuse.
Can it be possible I or the dad has it and passed it thru diaper changes or thru blood (had a c section)??

First, to answer your question, yes, if either you, your husband or anyone else that has contact with your baby has the herpes virus, then they can transfer it to your baby during diaper changes if they aren't meticulous about their own hygiene.

To help prevent it from happening and to keep your baby from passing it to someone else, whoever handles the diaper changing should be wearing gloves or something to prevent it from spreading.

Now, are you sure that it is genital warts? You said you saw the doctor but only mentioned that the child wasn't abused, you didn't say anything about the skin condition.

I would take your child to a dermatologist that specializes in pediatric and infant skin conditions. It may just be a very severe case of some form of diaper rash. I hope that is all it is. Genital warts can last forever.

Good luck.

Genital warts are like normal planters warts and are caused by a virus infection. It is actually not unusual for a child to get genital warts without known cause. Also, yes if either parent has had genital warts it is possible to pass on the virus easily without meaning to do so, even if there is not a current genital wart condition with either parent.

Moles, warts, and epidermis tags are common skin lesions that develop naturally. Even though they are generally non dangerous, they may be humiliating if found on a visible portion like the face. Skin lesions like moles and warts cause self esteem problems to the sufferers. An individual with moles normally turns into a loner because they don't wish to be noticed in public. They feel uncomfortable to be out in public places, therefore despair can obviously follow but you will modify all this with this manual from here https://tr.im/4IPDY , Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal eBook.

My sister-in-law has HPV...the kind that causes genital warts. She was told by her doctor to be careful changing diapers because it can indeed be passed to the child. I'd be checking out anyone who has changed your child or been in contact in any way....And just because there is no sign of abuse, like penetration or what-not doesn't mean someones nasty hands haven't touched your precious child. I'm sorry this has happened...I can't imagine my child having this problem. Good luck!

I could be eczema or prickly heat. Eczema is a dry, itchy skin rash that babies can get pretty often. If its prickly heat and its around the waist, where the bands of the diaper sit, sock bands, wrist bands and anywhere an elastic band goes around the skin. I would wash the baby in a luke warm bath and get some Aveeno soap with oatmeal. I think that they make some for babies with eczema. Dry the baby off and put a lotion made for babies with skin problems. Wash or re-wash all the things that touch the baby with Dreft or Ivory Snow detergent. Don't put the baby in anything that has any elastic on it; make it loose fitting. If its prickly heat, that is a rash that anyone can get from heat and sweating. I get that in the heat of the summer and it is between my boobs and on the crease of my butt. There are tiny little red bumps that burn when I sweat and itch like crazy. If all else fails, go see a dermatologist that deals with pediatrics.
