Normal. I have 3 boys, and they got erections at a few months old. My boys are uncircumcized too, but I have a little brother whom is circumcized and he does the same thing.

Having an erection at an early age is normal. In fact, I have visited a website a couple of months back, it was mentioned there that even younger boys 5 or way below can have erection (even infants).
Ask your son if he feels any pain or extreme discomfort in his penis when getting an erection? If so, then I suggest you immediately bring him for a check up.
Boys are circumcised for hygienic purposes.
To give you a piece of mind.. try consulting a pediatrician..

It is normal!
Every healthy male gets erections several times a day and night, even in the womb, it's just natures way of making sure the tissues he will need to become a man get the oxygen and the exercise to develop properly.
Circumcision will not help anything! Do not allow anybody (not even a doctor) to force his foreskin back, ever. He should be encouraged to gently work at retracting his own foreskin at bath time, a little baby oil applied to the tip might help.
I was circumcised 50 years ago at the age of 6, please don't do that to him. If your doctor says he has to be circumcised, grab your son and take him to another doctor. If he has an infection it can be treated with antibiotics just like they do with girls, cutting is not necessary! Girls get more infections than uncircumcised boys do and they don't cut girls.
He is a normal healthy boy. Don't worry, just be amazed, the wonder is just beginning.

It's very normal. Don't worry about it and don't make a big deal of it to him. If he complains, just tell him that it's OK, and it'll go away in a minute. Then try to divert his attention to something else.
I was worried too when I changed my son's diaper and saw that when he was a baby. I asked the doctor, and he told me it's perfectly normal.

Yeah, it happens, I don't know why so early though. I used to babysit a little boy and when he was that young, he'd come to me and my mother saying, "Ow, it hurts", holding his crotch area. We'd pull his clothing down and look and see that he was hard. We wouldn't say anything to him because we'd leave it to his parents to explain to him what was happening. I guess hormones are weird because you know when girls are born some have a little bleeding out the vagina because of our hormones and their nipples are swollen like little mini breasts. Weird! That little boy I took care of, however, was circumcised. I don't think early erections have anything to do with circumcision. Your pediatrician probably has a better explanation for these happenings.

Babies in the womb get erections. Don't worry about it, but you might want to have a talk with your son about privacy (i.e. things we tell people and things we don't) so he doesn't go running around yelling "my penis is hard!" when you have company over.

Boys get erections from infancy I took my son at the age of 4 to doctor because he complained it hurt to pee. Yep it does when you have an erection first thing in the morning. You should take him to doctor to check for a UTI if he says it hurts. Boys who are not circumcised are at greater risk for infection. I know a man who had to do it at 40 and he said it was horrible.

Very normal for you son to have erections. They usually have them from a few weeks old. It is normal and under no circumstances tell him it is wrong or dirty. It is part of his development to touch himself, and find out about his body. Just need to remind him not to do it in front of people.
