I want my friend to do as many things as possible at her baby shower, she's having a boy by the way.....

Yeah, don't have one and let the mother who chose to have the baby buy her own baby equipment instead of using an afternoon tea party as a guise to trick her family and friends into buying stuff for her!!!

One of my very favorite games is the memory game. When I gave my sister-in-law her baby shower, I bought a whole bunch of small things that the new mom will need, but things that people won't necessarily think of as gifts.... i.e. small package of wipes, thermometer, travel accessories, small diaper bag, pacifiers, etc.... I purchased those little safety pins, tied blue ribbons around each small gift and pinned it to my sister-in-law. She had to walk around the room - then hide out for 60 seconds while everyone wrote down as much as they could remember... It was a fun game and she got to keep all of the little extras.... Winner received a door prize.
I also used full size bottles of baby shampoo w/ ribbon tied to it with pacifiers attached, etc. for center pieces and she got to keep all of the centerpieces.

During my shower my aunt quietly (unnoticed by me) had a paper and pen and was writing down things I said as I opened my gifts.
She had a whole page of quotes by the end.
Then she announced that we were going to play a little game, and told me that she had been writing what I was saying, and that the quotes now represented what was said on the night I conceived him!
"Ohhhh, it's so tiny!"
"I love that color blue"
"What do I do with this?"
"Can you chew on it?"
"Awwwww, it's adorable!"
"This will keep him warm"
and so on.
The whole party was cracking up. It was really gold.

A bath the baby contest, everyone brings a baby and then they have to bathe the baby blidfolded and the one with the least bruises wins.

get everyone to take a photo of them self when they wa a baby and get ya friend to try and guess who it is
its just a bit of fun!
