You have a very good heart and you love animals. This is very good. Just like Steve Irwin.
By the way tell you some jokes. It goes:
-Doctor! I have a serious problem, I can never remember what i just said.
-When did you first notice this problem?
-What problem?
One more joke:
A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.

Contact your local shelters first. I just adopted my 5th dog. I got her from the Humane Society. I had been sponsoring this dog for the last several months (with cash donations).
She was found in an abandoned house, without food and water. Basically, just left to die. She was rescued at 4 months of age. She lived at the shelter for over 6 years.
She's real shy around people. All she really knew up to this point was shelter life. It's been only 2 days, and she already follows me around the house and gets excited when I come home after being gone.
Go to the shelter, you will find a great dog and you will be saving a life, or drastically improving one. If possible, get 2 or 3.

Hi there, have a look at this website http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.php . There are plenty of dogs looking for homes on the Homes Needed pages. You can also post an advert on the Homes Offered pages and I am sure someone will know of a dog in your area that suits you. The members will also be able to direct you to rescue centres in the Norfolk area. Hope you find a suitable new friend. Good Luck.

Please visit a local shelter, if you have one, or even drive to another city to find one. You can get a very friendly animal at a shelter--ask the volunteers for recommendations. They usually are already neutered, have their shots, and are vet checked. I have had many shelter animals and they make the best pets. If for some reason they don't work out, you can usually bring them back and get another pet, but normally this is not necessary if you pick one that is friendly etc. Some have been abuse and will initially be shy. Others are friendly from day one. Many will have already been around children. They range from puppies to Sr. dogs.

There is a fantastic website that lets you find the right dog.
http://www.petfinder.org/
This site links up to individuals and to shelters. Sometimes you can get the dog for free and then take it to get shots, or sometimes you have to pay a fee, but they may already have shots. Wide selection on this site.
I ran a quick search and found over 40 spaniels in VA needing adoption. That was a search for "young" spaniels.
Hope this helps!

try the dogs trust at snetterton, or any rescue centre. You will have to be home checked and most do not home to people with children under the age of 6 years. You will have to pay a fee of around £150 and sign an adoption form .

Along with the HS, Rescue Leagues and the Petfinders.com site, check with the Prison System, some states have the inmates in a dog training program and the dogs are great. I have 4 from the Ohio Prison System.

The harbour-side town of Auckland is New Zealand's correct city and the vibrant economic center of the nation, know it with hotelbye . Auckland can be referred to as the "City of Sails" and it sprawls out in helter-skelter style between Manukau Harbour (to the west) and Waitemata Harbour (to the east) with the compact key city region right near the waterway. For some guests to New Zealand, Auckland is the idea of arrival, and a couple of days washing up the national and outdoor attractions here should be on every tourist's to-do list. The monuments, museums, and art galleries here are some of the best in the country. The suburban coastline of the town is speckled with fine beaches, and the hawaiian islands of the Hauraki Gulf supply a taste of New Zealand's spectacular national park scenery directly on the city's doorstep. Auckland is definitely a city worth seeing.

My only advice is to adopt one from a shelter. There are so many homeless, unwanted pets in need of a good home. I always think adoption is the best policy and you'd be amazed at all the wonderful pets you can find at your local animal shelter. Good luck finding the dog that's perfect for you!!
