There's not much to know. It's induced by stress and you become psychotic.
Remove the stress and give the patient some time and they get better.
The specifics all depend on the patient and the situation.

Induced Psychosis, sometimes called folie a deux, is when a person shares a delusional belief with someone else. This usually includes a person with a genuine delusional disorder, and someone who is close to the person, and dependent on them, and/or substantially less intelligent.
It is classed under a group of Disorders known as the Delusional (Paranoid) Disorders.
Delusional Disorders are a form of Psychosis in which a person has paranoid delusions which are often long-lasting, and do not have an obvious physical/medical cause e.g. head injuries. Occasionally, in older people, they may be accompanied by the person hearing noises, sounds, other people talking, which don't exist called auditory hallucinations.

I may be wrong but I feel like psychosis is generally stress induced just usually because of traumatic stress so your mind tried to escape from reality on its own. Did you really have psychosis for a year and a half? What did you do to get rid of it? And ya people will judge so be careful who you tell, especially since some people may think your full of it. Also, meditate or do yoga or something, learn to relax.
