There are lots of options if you want to gain extra calories, try using soy products for excellent nutrients. You can also use other foods such as legumes (beans, lentils, peas, etc.) to get lots of nutrients. For extra calories you can eat peanut butter, and other meats.

Eat a wide variety of foods, keep looking there are many alternative products for you to use instead of milk products. Most foods come in a lactose free form, even ice cream!

Please don't take this wrong, but every person I have ever know who says they are lactose intolerant and refuse to drink milk, will scarf down the ice cream like this is the last time it will ever be served. In my experience, this has been probably close to 1,000 people. How do you tell who is actually intolerant when everyone claims to be who isn't.

By Buying lactose free products. Also there are plenty of products that are milk free.

milk is high in protein, and lots of vitamins. you can replace this buy eating lots of green leafy veggies, meats, beans... take vitamins to replace the calcium lose. don't try and get to much into the vitamin thing, to much of a good thing is not good for your body. go to your Dr. and ask him what you need, he(she) will be happy to help

my hubby takes an otc lactose pill that enables him to eat anything dairy. its called lactaid, or the equate version of such
