My kids do the same to me! Its a phrase and what I do is laugh at them cuz it makes them mad and they walk away they havent done it since!! What my parents did to me was put me in a cold shower with my clothes on for like 2 seconds and I stopped I gave that advice to a cousin of mine and it worked on her kids!!! So good luck! Whatever u do, do not let them run u!!!

ALL of the kids need DICIPLINE and follow through. Get an area of the house with no fun stuff in it. Like a dining room, stairway, or corner. When any of them behaves in a way that is inappropriate they get time out. Sounds juvenille but with doing it consistantly it will work.
You can also take away something they love like videogames and such. Only giving them back when they do something good. Like treat each othe nicely or help one another. (not to be confused with any chores)

Good luck!

ok heres the deal YOU ARE THE PARENT sit you child down (even though they are only 3 1/2) tell them I am the parent you listen to me, I said stop it and stop it now. more than often this works with wild mouthed children if it dosent then put them in a chair in the corner for how ever old they are in minutes and explain to them when you put them in there that they are there for a reason tell them that reason. soon it will all just be a memory.

I have an 11 year old son who does the same thing!!!we use no tolerance rule....no more talking or you get grounded or sent to his room.If he wont go you just ignore him and wait for back up.These kids want to argue with you and want the last word...dont give in to them.Take away privligies and show them you are in charge and you always get the last word.

Every single time he does it he needs a reprimand. Not a threat, threats without action are useless. Just do it. If he is bad take him to a chair or corner and he sits there for 3.5 minutes. If he gets up he gets placed right back. If all elese fails, I think soap is great!

When I'm terribly mad at my son, I pick him up, hold him tight and keep kissing him. He hates being unable to move, and I work my anger off without hurting him.
The main thing is to keep your tension low. If we ask them to do something, they do the opposite. The best thing at times like that is to distract them with something they like or are curious about.

A good smack in the mouth worked wonders for me!!! They will get the point and it will stop. My son is the same age.

Just let him run the whole house, you all have obviously done that thus far looking at his behavior. Why rock the boat now? Let him do what he wants to do. That's how everyone raises their kids these days anyway. God forbid you whoop their bad asses and put them in their place, give their asses some duties and make them earn their priviledges. God forbid kids are exposed to discipline. Then folk call supernanny to do the job they were too punk to do themselves.
