Costco always seems to have a nicely built bunkbed on display. I don't need one so I don't pay much attention. But I've definitely seen bunkbeds at Costco.

Keep in mind the longevity factor when you choose beds...

For instance, if you have two boys then they are probably going to be jumping on their beds all the time. Getting them bunkbeds with either a metal slat or solid wood "floor" for their mattresses to sit on, is a necessity. If the bed has wood latte, don't buy it. These are made from pine, which is the softest wood going, and will break easily.

You should get bunkbeds that are made with solid wood. Again not pine. Try for a hard maple. These look better than metal bunkbeds, and can eventually be broken down into twin beds.

The mattresses should always be available where you buy the beds. I find that it is much easier to get kids the cheap foam mattresses. It gives them a good night's sleep. And you don't end up being upset with them because they've ruined a good innerspring mattress by jumping on it, or having overnight "accidents".
