Tortilla de patatas
Peel potatoes and slice very thinly. Fry in olive oil for 15 minutes, adding the chopped onion after about 10 minutes. Meanwhile whisk a few eggs and add some salt and pepper. Once the potatoes and onion are cooked, add them to the whisked eggs and incorporate really well. Heat some more olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add the mixture and cook for about 3 minutes, moving it gently and allowing unset egg to go underneath. Turn over using a plate and cook the other side for a few minutes. Once cooked through, slice up and eat hot or cold. Will keep in the frige for about a day. Delicious.

With the tinned beans, potatoes, onions, herbs and spices and the sliced ham I would make a stew.
Then a bacon quiche, and then with the worcester sauce beef stock, herbs and spices, tinned tomato soup, tomato puree and pasta I would make a pasta and sauce. With the remaining pasta I would eat it with tuna.

Cut the potatoes and onions into wedges and lightly crush the garlic cloves with their skin on, drizzle over some oil and mix it through so all the wedges are coated. Add some herbs or spice of your choice, bake inthe oven til the wedges are cooked. Serve with sliced ham topped with fried eggs, and beans or peas on the side.
