There are many ways to get a cardio work-out. I'm considering mainly either an exersize bike, a treadmill or jogging, but among all forms, what is, overall, the best way to get a cardio workout?

Don't buy anything if you don;t like it.

Personally I found the best way is finding something you enjoy. If you wanna do cardio the best investment would be an ipod/mp3 player!

Try interval training: Jog for 3 mins, Run for 1, walk for 5, Jog for 3, run for 5....etc etc...this was your heart rate stays up but you don't die!

Also stair climbing. Find a set of stairs, jog up run down. This is great cas the walk there and back is the warm up and warm down AND you can increase the intensity so easily.

Any of the ones you do regularly would be great for getting up your cardio, some people do better with different exercises. It's also important to occasionally branch out and try other things so your body doesn't get too comfortable with one particular exercise.

I've always thought that the best cardio is the one you are committed to doing every day. As far as calories or energy expenditure something that moves your entire body is best.
