forget shampoo, time for a hot oil treatment!
I've given them and baby oil works really well! simply massage the baby oil into your scalp and to the end of the hair from the scalp, put a plastic bag over your head and use your hairdryer, on the lowest setting, put a hole in the bag just large enough for the end of the dryer to fit it. keep the heat on the hair by moving the dryer in a circular motion for at least 10 minutes.
Your hair will absorb the oil as it needs it.
Wash your hair with regular shampoo till clean. You'll be totally amazed at the difference in your hair!

The best brand I have found on the market is Kerastase, especially their deep conditioner. It is very expensive though. If you read InStyle magazine, you'll find it's what a lot of celebrities use. No one sells it in my area, so I buy it off eBay. It will turn your hair around though. And I also only wash my hair every other day. I have found that makes my hair grow a lot faster. Good luck.

check the ingredients for any alcohol... for the longest time I used pantene because it was supposed to be great and it smelled really good. I went to a new hairdresser and she made me buy Paul Mitchell for dry hair. it was great but didn't smell great. So now I just check the label for ingredients and get one that has little or no alcohol. If it has alcohol, it should be toward the bottom of the list.
Sunsilk is pretty good, affordable, and smells good, too.
