What related medical condition do you have? Elevated blood pressure by itself would not be a reason, as medics, nurses and physicians would take your blood pressure before administering most medications (a few emergency medications are exceptions..such as adrenaline).

Doctors and ERs will tell you to wear medic alert bracelets or necklaces for just about any permanent condition that a paramedic might find useful to know about before they hook up a patient on the stretcher, should an accident occur. Many people don't wear theirs though, and instead carry a medic alert card they put in their wallets. If you really want to, you could do that, but high blood pressure can change and become a normal blood pressure eventually. It isn't permanent like heart disease or AIDS.

Consult your doctor.

How do you know you have high blood pressure?
