I live in Ireland (Originally from Scotland). The east coast is very industrious, Dublin a nightmare, too busy, traffic jams galore but the west coast is superb! Beautiful scenery, people are very friendly and make you all feel most welcome. If you're into shopping then you'll probably want to do St Stephen's Green and other shopping malls in Dublin. You can take either trans or buses to go from one place to another and in Dublin use the lues (Tramway) It's the best way to go about if you intend to visit. Otherwise you have to use euros and you cannot smoke in pubs/restaurants etc. What else? Well once yuo get towards the west, stacks of beautiful hills/mountains and lughs (Lakes) part from that ... Sorry to deiapoint you but you won't find anymore leprechauns! They've all gone.

.Yes. I have been to Dublin. It is great. Also, the Guinness tastes far better there than anywhere else on earth.
