I would buy the biggest outdoors play set for my kids that I could find. It would be such a joy to see them open the back door and see the new play set and watch them go crazy.

Wow, you think awfully small. A thousand dollars won't get you very much today, with the inflationary prices. You go to a matinee movie, it is now about $8, $3 for popcorn, $ 3 for a small soda. If you take a familiy of 5 to the movies, you better be willing to shell out about $50.You do the weekly grocery shopping, that's about $200- $250.

Well a thousand doesn't get you far today! you have bills to pay and a thousand dollars would pay may half those bills! Life is not cheap!

I am a shoe fanatic so the first thing I would do is update my shoe wardrobe with the latest fashions. I'm sure once I was done I wouldn't have much, if any, money left....lol
