When I was a kid, they used to put a coriander seed at the center of a hard candy called "black balls"....yeah, I know, but this was long before those people of certain colour were called that! They were like a jawbreaker, only smaller. Anyway, you'd suck the candy down through all the different layers of colour, thinking that there would be something really wonderful in the center, and you'd hit this coriander seed and end up spitting all over the place because it was sssssooooo disgusting!

That's rough.
Perhaps they used the wrong amount & over-did it.
Enough 2 put U off 4 life, huh?
Coriander is a tad 2 pungent 4 me 2, so UR not alone.
Perhaps we should ban it!

I love it, I cook and it's the best herb for flavouring food, specially Indian food. I have 15 different herbs in my garden and coriander(Dhania) is used mostly.

I like coriander in the right meal though.
Haven't you anything more constructive to do?
Hate is a very distructive word. Attracts nutters.........

I've never tasted it, but I like it as an ingredient in my cologne. Don't know if it smells good on its own, or just in combination with other scents.
