We broke up a while ago and I still love him. I can't stand thinking of him being with anyone else and can't stand the thought that he may be the one. I see he loves me too but he isn't willing to be the man I need him to be. Is being alone and waiting the answer or is trying with him the best option? We have had so many breaks and I don't know if there is trust there anymore.

You are better off learning to be happy by yourself.
If he couldn't be who you needed him to be that won't change with another try.
When you doubt if there is trust, that means there isn't any.
There can be no real love without trust & respect.
It will hurt but with time the pain will numb, one day you will wake up & it will almost be gone, almost.

i would go with him. if he loves you there is still trust. that's how it is with me and my ex. we keep breaking up and going back out. and we still have trust. and love. and this has been happening over the past 2 years.
