Curious... if your religion is so important to you... how do you know he doesn't feel the same way about his? From his point of view this could be a very selfish requirement for marriage on your part. You've set the bar awfully high, you know.

Marriage is about compromise. What are you giving up to accomodate his interests?

give him a little bit more time....sounds to me he needs to work out some very complex issues here! converting to another religion is something that needs to be thought about and considered seriously.....

sounds like he obviously cares and loves u otherwise u would not have talked about marriage at all!

keep the faith and give him a bit more time....if he truly loves u he will contact u soon! if he doesn't then he wasn't worth it now was he?!

Good luck : )!

Babie if you trust him that he cant do anything to disheartenYOU, then I would advise to wait patiently for him. after all two weeks is not a year, people can wait for their loved ones even for five years,so why not you? Wait gal!!! Wait !!!! and keep on praying. Dont lose your man. If you really believe in God you gotta reach the goal

you fell in love with him knowing that he belongs to a different religion... iam i right... then why the hell do you want him to change him to your religion... it is totally unfair... how do you expect him alone to forgo his beliefs which he had had since childhood... it is totally mean of you... if you really love each other.. don't consider such differences... each one respect your own religion and live happily...

"Do not be unequally yoked."

Asking him to convert is unfair. Love is not self-seeking. If you are that committed to your faith, find yourself someone religiously compatible. Your squeeze has upted and ran coz he couldn't stand the heat.
