Science is yet to prove that..

2006-09-07 01:08:36 · answer #1 · answered by Redeemed 4 · 0 2

Science has proven that the process of evolution had happened is is still happening. It has proven it by examining the similarities between the DNA of various species (including humans and apes) and evidence in the rock strata of the different stages of evolution is also proof.

What science had not been able to explain yet is why mutations occur. However, it has been proven that mutations do happen which is how evolution works.

Evolution is not a theory. It is a fact. We only call it a theory when talking about 'Darwin's theory of evolution', because it was a theory then. And just to dismiss any rumours, it is not true that Darwin denied his theory on his death bed. His family dismissed that rumour after his death. I live just a few miles from Shrewsbury and have explored Darwin a lot. Anybody who doesn't believe in evolution really is just stupid.

Science has "proven"? Really? Why not give me the "proof" or point me in the direction to the "proof", sir?

In the meantime consider this: Science means a study, not a theory. Evolution is not a science or "study" because it does not exist.

So having said that, now to reiterate, if something cannot be repeated, cannot be tested, cannot be studied, cannot be observed, cannot be proven then it is A THEORY, not a science. Evolution meets the criteria, therefore it is a theory.

Creation(ism) on the other hand, can be repeated, can be tested, can be studied, can be observed and can be proven, therefore it is a SCIENCE not a theory!

The biggest proof of an artist is his art = the biggest proof of the Creator is His creation.

I rest my case.

P.S. And no, God is not a big monkey, He is a big God. :)

Evolution is still a theory, ie: not proven. There are also many other theories; creationism, intelligent design...
There is no proof that God has a physical form, the only physical form He has ever been seen in is Jesus, a human. However, God is all powerful, I'm sure He could appear as a ape if He wanted to. But if you believe what the Bible says animals have no immortal soul, unlike humans, God is immortal, by definition He couldn't be an animal of any form.

No, science has NOT proven we have evolved from apes. However, there are some people like you that can convince even creationists that evolution has some truth in it. Perhaps your mother slept with a gorilla?

Noway man, thats nonsense and incredibly disrespectful... yuo can't talk like that about the almighty bruv. If your being blunt and frank, which i cant tell, there are other ways, Maybe your a christian and your provoking debate, respectful, it is a question but not one worth asking you can tell by the sillyness of it it makes no sense, if by your reasoning you are relating evolution, where does evolution allow for God, the idea of God is... well To be God, surely almighty, do you know what it si to be God.

Glad you used a small 'g' because my God is the God, the almighty God and only a big 'G' will do. God by name God by nature. Praise the Lord Abba Father God in Heaven.

First of all we have not evolved from apes, we have a common ancestor with other primates, imagine a tree branching off and you might understand the concept. As far as god is concerned, he does not exist.

The difference between science and religion is that science takes on board new evidence, whereas religion is trapped thousands of years in the past - about 5,000 in the case of the creation myth - and tries to deny or explain away anything that doesn't agree with it.

There is a reason tha evolution is a THEORY...

and that is because it has NOT been proven...

but, most evolutionists speak of it as if it HAS been proven...

so that confuses people that don't question what they read...

Then, those confused people make statements like "If, as science has proven, we evolved from apes."

Science has not proven it, that's why it's called a theory. Try reading 'in 6 days; why 50 scientists believe......'

Well seeing as we are supposed to have been made in God's image, then that would mean that God looks like us. So if you think we look like big monkeys, then God will also look like a big monkey.

However, God isn't biologically like us (probably), so he isn't actually a big monkey, he just looks like one.
