Why is there so many people who like to bury their stupid heads in the sand and think that all the terrorist will leave us alone?
We are lucky these clowns were'nt around in the last war bleating get are troops out, otherwise we would all be walking around with little black moustashes.

I agree! Although we are sad for every life lost to fight this war...fight this was we must! To walk away would make America look weak and send a message around the world that we'll start anything but don't have the guts to finish. Also for all those who lost their lives on 9/11. We must fight the terrorists so that this doesn't happen again.

Because its only when OUR BOYS are dying, that we realise the true horror and grief that is being dumped on our doorstep.

Yes, we need to fight terrorism and the armed forces are out there doing an honourable job. But is this war the correct way to go about it? Its an ongoing debate, which can only be healthy. We are right to question the validity of every death of our service men and women.

I agree that people shouldn't complain about us being over there fighting, it's what those men and women train for, besides the ratio of deaths in this war are nothing compared to previous wars fought. The only thing is those dam IEDs.

You go on fight on the line then. Tell you what, tell me how you feel when you mate gets a sucking chest wound and dies later. How do you explain that to his relatives. How would your family feel if you were killed. When people die it upsets others and often we don't want the same fate to happen to others. War is different in that death is expected. But how many people do you think is acceptable to die for the UK following George Bush. 1, 10 , 100. For me He should do his own dirty work and we should stick to our own conflicts or peace keeping missions. (Falklands / Kosovo / Sieerra Leone). Saying that we should stay until the job is done - but it still hurts to see British, American or commonwealt soldiers dieing virtually everyday.

Because they know that soldiers are not fighting a war to save America.
They are fighting a face saving war for Bush.
All the reasons to scream "Bring back the troops form Iraq and Afghanistan" for Americans love their soldiers and would like to save them for a jsutified encounter whenever required.

when you sign up to join the services you swear to serve your queen and your country and to obey every lawful order and command whatever it is and if you are ordered to fight wherever or whoever it is not your place to question that order, there are too many whimps and other idiots who think that a career in the services is just to learn skills they can use upon completion of service and tend to use this entry method as an alternative to civilian employment with a uniform however, when you sign up you agree to fight if necessary and die if you have to so, if you do not want to fight and possibly die find another job, and if you are in the services do not whinge and get on with it

You will never get a good answer to that question. Most people will say we don't belong there, some will jump on the chance to blame President Bush. In war many men die, that is facts of life. I would rather have the war there instead of in America, people don't realize that if we don't fight them in their own country they will bring the fight to us, so what choice do we have.

If you know behind what you see , you will know that every single young soul in the American army is more valuable than each oil tank that we can put our hands on.

How much will we gain fro every single American who died their , what price is that , worthy of own flesh and bone dieing over their .

is it a war to defend ourselves I doubt . Our war there is only to get more rich and to get more power . and i see it as unimportant . WE LOST BOYS AND MEN. We lost cerdiabilty as the leader of the world. the Lang. of war is not what we need, the Lang. of negotiations and sharing resources is what we need.

blind power and loss of children is not worthy of what we are doing.

and yes one American soul is priceless and yes we will keep making a fuss if one solider is dead in Iraq or any other place on this planet. escpiacly when WE DO NOT KNOW WHY ON EARTH ARE WE FIGHTING THIS WAR FOR....!!!!

and by the way , we have lost so many in both wars , but we do not know the true amounts and right figures .

They do but cannot have their voice and opinion heard. Some resort to terrorist methods to make their point and give more reason for war and conflicts. A bad whirlpool!

It's just the Democrats Playing Politics and trying to fool their base.
We could not even be in Iraq if the Democrats weren't funding it.
