I have this problem. I can seem to remember much. I will talk with my husband then 10 mins later or longer I will ask the same question. I know it drives him crazy.

I have been taking anti-depressants for a couple of years. But this problem has been going on a lot longer.

The next time it happens, listen or observe if there were any distractions in the room/area at the time you first asked a question and when you ask the same question.

Many times in our daily conversations, there are distractions that will alter our mood and thought. Whenever I go shopping, I often forget what I originally set out to buy because of the music in the supermarket.

Try to pinpoint the chain of events around you that might be causing you to be distracted whenever it happens. Was there any music, interesting views that might have suddenly come into focus, were you distracted because you remembered something that might need your attention, etc...You may need to focus more intently when you talk with someone.

Sometimes the simplest solution is the answer.

I am a weight-loss coach and I think I can help. Go to this website. There is a new product called Lift-off. It enhances mental performance while boosting energy. It helps you stay alert and focused. Has two flavors: lemon-lime and orange. I personally think that the lemon-lime tastes like Mountain Dew and the Orange tastes like Tang. Good Luck
