As if george really cares.

It reminds me of "Empire", where they torture Han Solo, just to make him suffer.

WHAT USE OF TORTURE has Bush sanctioned?? None!! Interrogation in the right hands is not torture. The "abuses" in Abu Ghraib were inappropriate, but NOT torture...and not sanctioned by Bush.

Are we so pampered and protected in America (and much of the Western world), that we look at minor inconveniences and embarrassments as torture and human rights violations? Our parents and grandparents who survived WWII would be ashamed of what pansies our society is turning into.

But as a side point, the recent disrupted attacks on the airlines were in a large part identified by Pakistan, and they are not above using torture. And, frankly, I wouldn't be either if it stopped another 9/11, but I know that is not a politically correct thing to say.

Considering the many innocent lives these terrorist have taken, and the many people they themselves have tortured, they certainly deserve a taste of their own medicine! However, the United States doesn't work that way, and President Bush doesn't support torture to these individuals while in our custody. They might humiliate them, but that is far from torture.

Torture isn't to extract information from the guy being tortured. It's to extract information from the next guy in line. I hear that newly captured prisoners quickly talk so they don't get set to Gitmo.

It's been a tool of war and imprisonment for all ages. The U.S. has done nothing that every other country in the world is not also guilty of.

There are many cases that this has worked and saved American lives.
Don't you keep up with the news?

(Also, IT'S NOT TORTURE, it's being made uncomfortable.)
The terrorists don't need your help.
