between a dysfunctional gall bladder and hair loss?

No direct correlation. It does depend on what you mean by 'hair loss'. Is your hair loose at the roots or just breaking/splitting? If it is coming out at the roots, then there may be a hormonal problem as the underlying cause. If it is because your hair is brittle, then that is a past (but perhaps continuing) problem.

I would advise that you discuss it with your doctor (so long as that doesn't cost too much - in the UK it costs nothing!), check the Internet for information and get happy with your body!
