What causes throat infection? : ( apart from smoking because I don't.) often giving b... job to boyfriend, drinking much cold drinks, eating spicy food? My doctor advised me not to eat banana and I don't understand what he meant. I was so shy to ask him, In the 1st place I don't think banana is bad for the throat. Do you know the answer?

sore throat can b due to multifactorial reason
climatic changes,exposure to harsh cold ,lack of immunity
banana instigates sputum production and in an an infected throat acts as an antigen

potassium is in bananas and can irritate infections. also bananas have a role of coating the throat with a layer of potassium which also can worsen the sore throat.

He was talking about oral sex and didn't want to embaress or offend you so he used the bannana as symbol....you don't have to give it often to get an infection. Tell your boyfriend to see the doctor and get that fixed or you will get it again. Oh yeah....your boyfriend is appaerantly cheating on you so you may want to dump him and get full blood work done to see if you haev any other STD's.

he want's you to eat banana's because they are GOOD
(G E W D gewd) for your throat (i think he knows what he's doing, after all hes the doc. and your not) so listen to him and eat bananas. But what i think it was caused by was uuummmmm............i don't know. second hand smoke??
