Why would you think there was anything wrong with it? It doesn't spread disease, it's fun, it's private (I assume), it's healthy, it helps prevent depression and the bible actually doesn't say anything about it. The issue of Onan was really completely different. It was his decision to disobey god and not get his brother's wife "up the spout".
Go ahead, enjoy yourself and forget the harbingers of doom who prefer that you're miserable in this life just in case there might be an afterlife - don't bet on it!
BtW, "Jesus says....." from at least one answerer. We have a maximum of 6 quotes possibly spoken by JC, none of them refers to masturbation. The mysogenist and depressive Paul had plenty to say about it but then he also preferred to keep women chained to the kitchen sink. Would you listen to a person like that, whatever he said?

No, it's not OK. But as we're all still sinners, some of us still do it. We all still sin in some way or the other. Let's hope that all Christians are asking Jesus on a daily basis to take our sins away and change us to become more like him.

As long as they are not Roman Catholic.

For a Man to Masturbate is a mortal sin and needs confessing. Sperm is supposed to be used to make babies, thus no gays or condoms.

Thank God I am an Anglican - we have masturbating, condoms and gays. Phew.

It has to be. Your body has instinctive needs. From a man's perspective, if he doesn't have the occasional release his body will force it out while he is sleeping.

If it wasn't OK, then you'd have to get married as soon as you were sexually developed because your body is going to be fighting with you to have these urges fulfilled.

Great question!

Please consider these tidbits:

Jews for Jesus = Vegetarians for Hamburgers

God? He or She?

Church? Christianity? Jesus? Dying?

What is the Imacculate Conception supposed to mean?

Does Imacculate Conception have anything to do with "VIRGIN BIRTH"?

Google Imacculate Conception and learn that is NOT.

What else do you falsely believe?

Jesus, the basis of Christianity? .

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Can Gods die?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?

No Eternal sacrifice, big deal for a day!

If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.

If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

Life after death is like virginity after childbirth.

If the flesh of Jesus died, what was seen walking and talking on Sunday?

If you believe this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to believe it too to validate you.

Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.

Believing and not thinking is like choosing to be lost.

Of course. If Jesus actually ever existed, I'm sure he would have been partial to the occasional five finger knuckle shuffle. Fill your boots!!

No girl, the bible says, in the Peter i believe when talking of desire/lust etc. 'To leave your instrument alone,' in the king james version it does and mine is over 100 years old, which is the most unadulterated we have available for purchase.

The jews were circumsised for this same reason, to keep them seperate from, fiddking, fidgeting and getting off. Your body is a temple, read the signs girl, it aint. i admit i used but i never felt good about it afetr, thats a pretty big sign for me, its best in marriage, king Solomon says in Song of Solomon, 'it is good to enjoy your wifes breats.' Inb marriage it is cool, but also Paul warns make no provision for marriage, but rather prepare for the Coming of our Lord.

God is merciful and kind, i prayed loads it took me a while to get over that, i lessened it, but had hiccups, i'm cool now though, i don't need it or miss it, i still like women i just don't drool, or get off like i used to, i'm a christian now girl.

The bible isn't clear but I'm guessing no, our bodies belong to our partners or to Jesus. It's tough to follow this though, isn't it!
