I Search,Read,Discuss and Look for god for my whole life,but as I got further it get darker, many people "think" they can "feel"! the God in their Hearts! and so on, but as a RATIONALIST, I'd ask if our brains are not huge enough to understand HIM -or her- why are we always try to describe and pray and .... him.

1. I was Muslim before getting Agnostics not christian.
2. about everything being an accident and or how we got here: a. there are lots of theories like Evoloution.... b. these aren't prove anything... what I ask was is "really" there? i mean, something for sure, not guess from flowers.

I am atheist. I was once a christian. I like hearing that as a muslim you have doubts, only because i am sick of hearing muslims are some sort of religous unthinking robots. I hope you ask more questions in the future and show the chrisitians and many atheist that muslims are equal people also. How old are you where do you live? Are there many ex muslim atheist or agnostics?

Is God real? Well that all really depends on your interpretation of the word God! We came from something, we are in something and obviously it is creating! What more proof you need than that? God is everywhere! Not here or there, God is the Infinite untouchable spirit that powers all life and all the universe. It seems simple to me now, but at one time I was probably much more confused than you are. Seek with honest intentions and a trust(faith) in what you are apart of and God will reveal Itself to you! I'm a rational thinker and I don't just believe in God out of blind faith. I don't even say that I believe in God anymore. God is obvious to me now, I know God is. It's beyond belief or desperate hope or some silliness like that. God cannot be entirely conceived of in the mind obviously. God is Infinite, you can not confine God within thought but only reflect off of it with lesser things. All things actually point to God if you really look with clearity of mind and a loving heart.

God is not an intellectual pursuit...it's a spiritual pursuit. The fact is we are all "rationalist" those of us you are balanced (reasonably). The statement that "I am a rationalist" is really a little like saying: "I prefer to breath oxygen"...there is no surprise here..no revelation that merits the unusual. That is our first search for God..we attack the problem with our minds..we search for a rational reason based on our intelligent and experience...this approach is like trying to describe color and a tree to a blind man...it's just not possible!

Great Question.
There were these 2 little fish that were playing and swimming around one morning having a great time. And older fish swam up to them and said "Good morning boys,, The water is wonderful this morning." and then swam off. The little fish looked at each other and said what is this water thing he was talking about? "We must find it!" And they swam all over the world on their search for this water.
After a wile they asked questions like IS "really" THERE ANY WATER?

Look around. Look at the flowers, birds, stars. Do you really think this could have been an accident? It has been calculated that the odds for this to happen by accident are so great, that it would be easier for a tornado to hit a junk yard and make a working jet airplane. Truly search for God, and He will reveal Himself to you.

u don't have to ACTUALLY SEE something to believe it existes!!!! u can see the effect of it & believe in it's existence.....
eg. what makes u so sure that u have a heart??
cuz u're alive, & u can see blood if u were cut (& it might come out with every beat, if a big artery is cut)....why do u believe that u have a brain when u've never seen u're brain!!!
like wise, u're walking on planet earth, if there was no god, who made u?? who made earth?? who made the univerce?? who is made all the planets each in its own path & not colliding?????

I cannot give you a factual answer as there is no proof either way. Nobody else can give you the answer you seek either only their opinions, you will need to realize your truth for yourself. I do not believe in such a thing as God. In my eyes there are too many evils in this world for any God to exist, unless that God were evil itself in which case I would just as soon not believe in such a being.
