I'm 16.. I started working in a supermarket a year ago.. Ever since then I've grown to like another boy my age that works there. I have got subtle hints that he likes me but very subtle. I am obsessed with him and can't stop thinking about him! We get on well enough and people say he likes me but is too shy to make the first move. I really dont know what to believe but they say if I leave it down to him to make the first move it will never happen.. Im just wondering what hints could I give him to let him know I like him. This obsession is gone on too long and I need to let him know...

Well, from the sound of it, anything subtle is not going to work. He'll probably take the huge hints and contemplate them over and over until he's convinced himself that you're not interested, still.

The best hints you can give, in my opinion, would be by asking him if he's dating someone. If not, is he interested? Ask personal questions about this, and you'd basically be holding up a HUGE sign inviting him to date you, as well as finding out if he's too shy or not interested.

Just remember, no evidence, when relating to human psychology, is definite. So, if you get an answer from him that might infer he's not interested, don't give up all hope.

Good luck and hope you guys have fun.

who says a guy should make the first move first, you can. ask him out for dinner as a friend and see what will happen you are in different environment, maybe he will open up, if not just tell him you like him and you will definitely find the answer from him. good luck

You can only be rejected by a person once, that's my motto. Ask him to do something neutral, like go to a movie. Then in the theater, try to hold his hand or better yet put your hand on his knee. Judge by his reaction if he's into you or just a friend. (If he smiles when you put your hand on his knee, for example, he's probably into you, if he frowns, he's not and just act like it was an accident...theaters are dark, I thought it was the arm rest...)

Obsession isn't healthy. If you like him and you really think he likes you, then just tell him how you feel and ask him straight out if he feels the same way. It is that simple really. Good luck!

Patience is a virtue. Everything comes to those who wait. Play it cool with him and just be nice. 16 is so young to be thinking of romantic thoughts.

The first thing I'd do is ask him if he wants to go out sometime. To eat, to a movie, something. If he says sure, take it from there.

It's good that you can recognize that your attraction to him is unhealthy. Just tell him and move on, even if he asks you out as a result. It's ruined now.

First you need to engage him to get him to open. Next find out what his interests are and what he likes to do outside of work. If he likes to bowl, ask him to go bowling. Problem solved!
