i think it's a total piss take all these politicians don't have to worry about immigrants cos they are rich, live in posh areas where immigrants can't afford to go. Not only that people say we should look after these people cos they have it rough in their country. What about all the old people who are English that cant afford to heat their homes during the winter, what about all the homeless people? If they immigrate to Pakistan cos its too hard in this country would they be looked after, given money a place to live?
No would they balls they would probabley be given a death sentance under one of their stupid paki laws!
Civil War? oh yes bring em on we'll show them how it really goes down in England. I for 1 will be on the front line.

An individual's religion is just one apect of their identity. They might also belong to a particular profession, a family or a political party. They might be the supporter of a certain football team, belong to a club or society. They might volunteer for a charity or read novels. And yes, some might be suicide bombers. There are so many things which go to make up a person's identity.
To decide that someone cannot enter this country purely on the basis of their religion is to ignore all other parts of what makes us human. The terrorists make the same mistake when they kill innocent people who have committed no crime against them.
The only way we can escape this madness is if people start to see beyond such 2 dimensional thnking.

Think you have blurred the edges of race and religion! A person can be British white and still be a Muslim, you only have to recall the list of names given for the last lot arrested to know that. You cannot discriminate purely on religion when deciding if someone comes into the country, has to be on their ability to support themselves rather than relying on the state to do so. the discrimination that needs to be seen is the financial one!
It is also against the human rights conventions to discriminate through race ,religion, sexuality etc etc

I think evil mouse has summed it up. He is EVIL and probably when confronted with intellect he is a MOUSE.
I can really see how people like you have NOT added and benefited the economy and society, and hence that makes you fundamentally part of the problem you suggest.
If you managed to read this without suffering a brain hemorrhage , I am sure another pleasant member will translate my message into pigeon English for you to understand.

As a country we are not prejudice against religion or race and so any creed is allowed into the country. If you are concerned about numbers then maybe we should set up a similar system to Australia which only allows those to enter with a points total. Points are scored by having something to contribute to the country.

Muslims? Since when is that a nationality you moron. Many of the Muslims in this country are as British as you and I. And as for your ignorant and pathetic comment about them mostly being terrorists, you need to get your facts straight before making stupid generalisations because of a few extremist Muslims. People like you are the reason our country is s-h-i-t. Go back to school and this time, PAY ATTENTION!

Even if they wanted to, the EU wouldn't let them have a seperate immigration policy for Muslims. Muslims, also seem to have a particular propensity for getting married abroad and then returning with their new spouse. That will also increase the population as well as the tendency to have more children than the rest of the population. These are just observations.

We have a reasonably open policy towards immigration and a responsibility towards those in need, we can't discriminate on the grounds of religion, how would we know if someone was lying?
The vast majority of terrorist suspect that have been arrested have been British citizens so preventing good people from entering the country is not going to put a cap on extremism

In a desperate attempt to raise the average intelligence quotient.
To avoid the overcrowding you fear, we shouldn't let another into the country until we've made room by kicking a racist out of it.
