I have them occasionally but not last night. The easiest time to achieve a lucid dream is after you've slept for approximately 5 hours then went back to bed after 15-30 minutes. This puts you closer to the REM stage of sleep. There are several methods you can try. I've succeeded using a few (WBTB, MILD and WILD-mostly using both the WBTB AND MILD together) but others are just too weird for my taste.
Check into lucid dreaming web sites such as ld4all.com and lucidity.com and dreamviews.com. There's plenty of information there; just be sure to keep an open mind- I can't vouch for most of the methods but I know some do work...best of luck.

I'm not sure if ths counts as lucid dreaming, but my dreams just before I wake up are heavily influenced by the radio I that comes on automatically and what the presenters are saying. With the news updates every ten or fifteen minutes, saying basically the same thing each time, I find that my dreams will involve whatever the news reader was saying. I only find that out after I wake up and hear the news report for the first time properly (i.e. awake) and I realize that's where I got my strange dreams from.

I have had these since I was a kid, although the level of control varies dream to dream.
Most times I am aware I am dreaming but cannot control the characters and settings, but can do whatever I want. Flying and jumping from high cliffs/buildings is the most fun.
Now and again I have complete control over where I am and who is there and what kind of world I am in, but this takes quite a lot of concentration and I usually wake up before I want to.
You can certainly control your dreams if you practise enough

Lucid desires can take place by twist of fate, besides the indisputable fact that that's attainable to coach your self to have lucid desires. because you're blind to your desires, it could be on your income to maintain a dream mag. shop it by your mattress and write in it as quickly as you awaken, each and every morning. whether you purely remember flashes of coloration, write it down - it facilitates your ideas to remember desires contained sooner or later. when you have began to remember your desires, the subsequent step is to think of approximately lucid dreaming each and every evening in the previous you visit sleep. merely attempt to think of on the undertaking for ten or fifteen minutes, reminding your self which you rather must have a lucid dream this evening. think of approximately what you will do on your lucid dream. It does not paintings for all and sundry, yet optimistically it works for you!

I did! I dreamt that my boyfriend had a baby (long story really) and then he bought home this beautiful little baby girl and I was really jealous because they were really close and I was all left out, so I woke up and then tried to get back into the dream and this time I was pregnant, cept it all sort of lost track when I gave birth to a goose...
This is true, I might go and look it up to see what it means.

I didn't have one last night, but I used to have them quite frequently and it was difficult to try and stay asleep once I 'found out' it was all a dream.
