Public Liability is an insurance that would be with your home owners insurance it is totally different from any type of pet insurance.
It has nothing to do with the dog itself. Depending on the breed you may not be able to get home owners insurance to cover a dog. There are many breeds that are on a list and if it is one of them the insirance company will not sell you insurnace because of the breed of dog you have.

Would you please make your question more clear. There is insurance out there but I don't understand your question. Are you asking about insurance to cover vet bills or about insurance to cover biting or any other physical damage done by your dog?

I htink you could ask your vet that as I am sure he/she woudl know. ALternativley try Direct line, They seem to sell insurance for everything
