Did anyone see the news last about how the NHS are introducing muslim gowns for the NHS to ensure muslim women feel comfortable when having stay in hospital? The gowns ensured the women were fully covered from head to toe with a matching head dress.
Is this country going to far???? Who is paying for this???

Considering the NHS is going down the pan with closures and the pot running out of money, i think now is a bad time to be introducing these gowns and wasting public money on something which isnt that important.
Get the hospitals sorted before you start faffing with the "Night Gowns". End of the day, health care is of the first and foremost of importance - not what patients have to wear.

I have to say this is yet another step too far. If you take a job in a Muslim country you have to wear the clothes they want you to. In the UK they should wear the same as everyone else. I could not stand in the road and preach in a Muslim city. I would not be able to open a English school in Iran. Why do we not make it plain this is a predominately White Christian country. We are happy to have you live here but on our terms.

This is yet another case of pandering to the muslims. This is stil l a Christian country albeit one that is becoming overcome by all sorts and the NHS is already under pressure. If these women are stupid enough to allow themselves to be didctated to by arrogant men concerning their mode of dress they should provide their own gowns and not sponge off the NHS. If we (Brits) went to a muslim country do you think they would afford us the same rights - would they hell.................

Basically, if you were not born here, if you choose a religion other than Catholism/Anglic Chuirch, If you speak a languag other than Enlgish, if you just happen not to have been born white... Then you can get anything you want from the UK and have all other folks pay for it. Aparrently thats democracy even though they NEVER held a poll or general election based on those issues.

Human beings are human beings. Respecting each race, group, ethnicity etc is just humane. Those who seem displeased about this should see the bigger picture too. Why the media and the political powers here in the west don't respect the people who choose to be different in their own country and try to westernise them? Why their way of life is being ridiculed? Let's be fair to all: we cannot let out taxes be spent on bombs and feel furious about NHS gowns!

Maybe that explains why so many prescription drugs AND operations like tonsillectomy are now being stopped.!! The savings from that can pay for it!!! Its disgraceful!! Next thing we will be told is the UK is to become a Muslim state!!! Yes,things are really going too far! It will continue as well, unless we get of our backsides and do something!!!!!!!!

Political correctness gone insane!
They should adopt our traditions in our country, not the other way around.
When our women go to Muslim countries, they cover up, as is the local tradition. We try not to show the soles of our feet in other places. Why should we bend over backwards to cater for ther people's traditions in our home country? Nobody else does this!!!

I have always believed that if you choose to come and live in our country then you should abide by our ethics and laws, speak our language etc just the same as we should do if we went abroad. No one should receive different treatments. I feel that we are trying to be too politically correct and it is there fore getting out of hand, i have nothing against other religions or people of different races, i just feel that each country is different and it should stay that way.

These gowns must cost more then the standard ones, so I think it only fair that if they want have one they should pay the extra.
I don't know the UK is bending over backwards to please this religion and they still try and bombs us? I don't get it, I don't get it at all.
