A church is a building for following the rites of a religion, primarily Christianity, since other religions call their buildings different names.

The church can be a generic reference to the institution of religion or the religious leadership.

For example, the Jefferson and Madison's reference to "separation of church and state" was meant to be a separation of religious leadership and government leadership, and was embodied in Constitution's 1st amendment.

The church is not visible or physical, it is internal and spiritual. A church building can be anything from a space under a tree to a Colosseum. Not really sure what you are looking for.

In the book of Thomas Christ said himself that the church is not wood or stone. Break the stone and i am there, split the wood and i am there. We are the church where He is, the physical dimensions cannot be measured, counted or weighed because it is not of a material manifestation it is you and i and everyone else who seeks Him.
