smoking is never cool!!! it's judt like committing suicide inch by inch...besides u do harm to others through "second-hand smoke"...besides, it's just a waste of a lot of money!!!

I am a smoker, I would not recommend anyone to take up smoking as a cool and pleasurable activity. It is at times embarassing. You are almost like an outcast in public places, you have that stench about you. If you get a cold you feel 10 times worse than if you didn't smoke. You get that cough and hack, stained fingernails, the list goes on. I have stopped smoking 3 times in my life, that was when I was pregnant with my 3 children. What makes me start again you ask well, I get stress and depression. It is easier to light up a cig and take your mind off of it for the moment sometimes. I am hoping to try stopping again soon. Wish me luck

I have been smoking for 30 of my 40 years with no health problems at all. I do enjoy it. And even tho I did start young, I never did it to be "cool", because I don't think it is. If that is a reason to try it, then it's not the right thing to be doing it for. Cool things are music, sports or anything but smoking, drinking, and drugs. Good luck. Tara

No Not Cool. The older I gt the less cool and more irritating it is. My husband is a smoker. I am not. I have never been a smoker. When we were dating his smoking didn't bother me, but now it is very irritating. Warning, if you are a non smoker- do not marry a smoker.

It is most assuredly not cool, as for the pleasureable part, some days it is deeply satisfying- like that first cig after work is done. But sometimes it really feels like work(guess that's the addiction part kicking in), and those are the days you say to yourself thats it i'm done when this pack is done. Then as you near the end of your pack your mapping out your route to the corner store.

i dont think that smoking is cool and pleasurable, I smoke when I am stressed or just as a habit, ive been smoking 8 years and only gave up when I was pregnant

For the smoker it is certain death by cancer.

For the non-smoker, the smoker's smoke is sure harmful.

haha. no. been there, done that. coughing so much you can't go asleep until you've worn yourself out from it is neither cool or pleasurable. the dent in your pocket isn't nice either. thankfully managed to quit. bad habit to have. i've seen it take some good people.
