Where are good AF bases to be stationed at in Germany? And why?

There's a handful of other places you could end up if you get stationed with the Army (Weisbaden for example), and probably another couple places if you're in a NATO posting, but if you're in the regular AF, there's two places. Ramstein and Spangdahlem. Do your research on those.

The easist base to get over there is Ramstein. I dont know if they closed Rhein-Main but if not its a hard base to get anyways cause last time I flew through there all they are using it as is a go through base for troops heading to the dirt.

Germany has some of the best scenery in the world and not only that but they have October fest...:)...need I say more.

In Germany? Theres this really big one called Ramstein AFB. It s very central and you can get to anywhere in Germany and Europe from there. I dont know about any other ones, Sorry!

There is only one now. Ramstein. They closed Rhein-Main maybe a year ago. Other than that, there's Airforce in other countries like England, Italy, and hey, maybe even Iraq......

near hanau germany thers one like 45 miles in i think wesbaden my spellin might be wrong but its a good place theres noone there right now there in iraq but there comin bak soon if ur in basic go there cuz u wont deploy for 2yrs iight get at the army man

Bad Aibling was great, it's in Bavaria, skiing in winter, Lake Chimsee in summer, Octoberfest in Sept, great people and food, close to Austria, Italy and Switzerland, mountains all around, woodcarvers and yodellers, castles
