Aluminium is supposed to increase the risk of Alzheimer's, so chuck out those old pans (non-stick coated ones are okay, but get rid once the coating starts to some off).

Ginkgo Biloba is supposed to help as it is alleged to increase the blood circulation in the brain (and can be bought as a supplement from health food shops).

Fish the family dish.

All seafood products high in Omega3 oils are very good brain foods.

However, mental exercises also helps to stimulate the brain.

Apparently fish and sea food is excellent 'brain food' - and given that it has all those omega 3 oils it's also good for the rest of you too.

there are quite few 'superfoods', oily fish as already stated, blueberries...random but true...avocado's/pomegrantes/kiwi's/dark choc/broccolli/spinach are also being promoted as super foods at the moment, as all are high in natural anti oxidants...

also, specific brains foods tend to be protein based, so fish, meats and cheese are all good.

thats about the limit of my knowledge
