Women in Islam are the most precious part of their society as they are the mothers of all future generations of Muslims. Thus is a war, women are not required to fight, although men and women are considered equal in the sight of God, but the role of men and women is different on Earth, as men are there to provide protection for the immediate and women are the protectors of the future of our society.
Women cover, as they do not wish to be temptations to other men. While they can watch men, men can not watch them. Black robes keeps any part of their body including their profile become visible to those who want to see.
Magazines that display women in nakedness in our view demean women and turn them into entertainment for men, when they are the mothers of mankind and are to be given the proper respect, honor and privacy.
You would never throw away your diamonds on the street, but you would keep them protected and preserved. In the same way a woman who realizes her value as the mother of all future generations does not care to have her physical beauty as a means to please and entertain men. She is speaking to them through her abaya that I am not available for you to ogle at me.
Women who wish to tantalize show their bodies. Lesser women let men handle their bodies even for money. Whereas women of honor and true value do not show themselves.
Notice also that playboy is sold in large numbers, but playgirl is not. Why is that? Because men are attracted through looks.
The best name for a boy is Mohammad and for a girl is Fatima. The next best name for a boy is Ali and for a girl is Zaynab in my view.
I hope this makes sense.

Salam :) i'm a Muslim teen living in Canada. I placed on hijab alhamdullilah and it is for the main section common right here because of the fact that i stay in a great city with a giant Muslim inhabitants. I do get the few ignorant comments and idiots in college although who ask stuff like "yo have been given a bomb below there hahaha". however the toughest section is being distinctive out of your acquaintances. Being a Muslim, events, alcohol relationship boys donning revealing clothing and so on is haram, and at the same time as i do no longer opt to try this besides, this is a splash awkward to ought to describe why i do no longer do it to those who evaluate it purely a factor of being a teenager and its elementary to them. Muslims living in Muslim international locations truthfully have it much less stressful whilst it comprises setting up in. And with nutrition this is a splash frustrating yet I constantly attempt to study the label if i'm uncertain of the climate. yet i does not wanna be the different faith regardless of how complicated it gets and how distinctive i've got faith from anybody else, i'm happy to be Muslim :)

The black robe or Burka is applied to all woman in Islam, Women in Islam are ordered to cover themselves. If not with the Burkha then they should wear clothes that doesn't "Reveal" their body. Those hats or the caps men wear are Islamic symbol and as well as defines at times from which part of the arab world they are from. Arabic name for a guy ... I guess Ahmed and name for a girl would be ...Hina but there are many more beautifull names in arabic.

Muslim woman are ordered to cover their whole body except their face and hands. But if a woman feels that she is pretty and her face may attract attention then she has the right to cover it. but it is not necassary in Islam. In prayer a Muslim woman is ordered to cover all her body except face and hands. And you'll see that most of these women do not cover their faces while praying, they just cover it in front of strangers.
It is not metioned in the Quran that a Muslim woman should wear Abaya or Burkha. The cloth should be wide not transparent and should cover all her body. This means she can wear any clothes that meets these requirments in any colors.
Most of the muslim women in Middle East wear Abaya's which is very nicely stiched and beautiful
Muslim woman in India especailly in Kerala wears the Sari but they put head covers and fold the end of this saree aroung their chest. Some wear the wide Top and pyjama and a shawl to over their head like in Pakistan
Muslim woman in west wears wide pants and tops and cover their head with Scarf.
These all are traditional clothes but they change it to meet the above conditions
Nicest Name: Boy: Omar Bin AbdulAziz

thru out time it became more as a cultural tradition thing than being a religion thing. it became part of traditional cloth.
the requirement in Islam is to cover all the woman body except the face and the hands. and for Men, cover from ur belly button till your knees.
and as Muhammad (P) mentioned that white cloth is one of the colors that God likes. and it's even recommended to cover our dead with white robe when put in their grave. so i am not sure why black?
one of the accepted reason for covering the face that if a woman is very attractive and may bring problems to her self or destruct Muslims men from their faith, then it's better if she cover her face for protection.
about the hat, it's also tradition. it's not required in Islam. it's just to say i am muslim. just like how jewish wear hats too for a sign that they are jewish.

first of all, ALLAH, QURAN AND MUHAMMED-pbuh said COVER UR PRIVATES, THEY DID NOT SAY WEAR BURKHA or hijab. ALL THEY SAID WAS -- BE MODEST AND GAURD UR PRIVATES FROM SOMEONE NOT MEANT FOR U. the idea of wearing a burkha developed just a few hundred years ago. THERES ONLY HIJAB & thats a part of MODESTY. thats ur CLOTHES AND UR ATTIRE.
clothes were meant to cover our bodies not display them, right?
ever taken a keen look at the image or statue of Virgin Mother Mary? that very same reason is why a muslim woman is allowed to cover herself. freedom does not come by displaying the skin and talking the talk. it is the responsibity and trust people have in u. it is in u showing to carry ur elegance and grace of WOMANHOOD.
The Bible.
Exodus 28:4
These are the garments they are to make: a breast piece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban and a sash. They are to make these sacred garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so they may serve me as priests.
Exodus 34:33
When Moses finished speaking to them, he put a veil over his face.
when u see a group of muslimah wearing hijab or men wearing those robes, the first word that would come to ur mind will be -- i know OPRESSION. but if u look beyond that u will see that man/woman, young/old, rich/poor -- they all look EQUAL. thus there would not be any arrogance if someone is rich or pretty, people tend to be less mean, esp if u know about mean girls.
just like how women cover themselves men too need to be modest. thats why they wear those hats on their head. it is to signify simplicity and to control characteristics like pride and arrogance.
names : i have to go with muhammed arman(arman means desire and it is my husbands name) for a boy and maryam for a girl.

Well I live in a country where local ladies are dressed like you have descrbed ( UAE). It is mostly traditional way of dressing rather than muslim. It has nothing to do neither with status nor with age. It is just their local way of dressing, cultural one.
Muslim lady can wear coloured skirts and hejabs, not the black one , and leave her face completely open..
The ladies black cloths has name Abaya ( not burka)..and the scarf covering her hair is Hejab
Men wear white long cloths, named Kandura or Dishdasha. Again it is just the local way of dressing. In Egypt for example men dress like europeans.
My favourite name for girl is Aysha, for boy is Hossam and Mohammed

I live in the middle east, and around here it is mainly bedouins (nomads) who have assimilated into the city life if you like. They bring their same backward traditions with them, and most other civilised people lookdown at them. The veil is one of those things, they wear it all the time, when they eat they lift it up just enough to place the food in their mouths. They are only allowed to remove when at home with family. It is these ignorant bedouins that give arabs a bad name. And they represented most of the arab terrorists just so you know.

Hi - I'm a Muslim and I've never liked the all black dress that those women wear. I think they should wear more colorful clothes, not grim reaper black. I've asked my wife not to ever dress like that... she never does... she wears very colorful and unique style of clothes that are still modest. It's really traditional Arab women from Arab countries (i.e. immigrants) who dress like that. Most American born and younger generation women don't dress like that. Those Arab women need to be free in their choice of colors and styles while maintaining modesty.
Aleena is a pretty girls name (it means silk of paradise)

In the Quran, God states: "Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty...And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and adornments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers...(a list of exceptions)" [Chapter 24, verses 30-31]
Also, "O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons...that they should be known and not molested." [Chapter 33, verse 59]
In one tradition, the Prophet Muhammad is quoted as saying: "...If the woman reaches the age of puberty, no part of her body should be seen but this --- and he pointed to his face and hands."
