They don't really know the cause of this problem however it appears that several individuals who have contracted cold urticaria have experienced in their past extreme body "abuse" like a life guard... in the extreme hot, penetrating sun for long periods of time. The body reacts to cold once it has had to adjust to such heat for long periods of time. Try to avoid sunbathing, saunas, etc. Also, don't use lotions, body oils, perfumed soaps, etc. as this will block your pores and only prolonge the problem. Pray. God can heal this quite easily.
