Did you know that bikes kill more children than handguns? So, do we ban bicycles or do we teach our children to wear safety equipment and ride safely?

Teach Children how to ride and how to ride safely. That is the role of a good parent.

Does not have anything to do with Guns. I'm not against guns, I am a member of NRA.

Yep I'm with Lisa - lets round up all those irresponsible parents who don't teach or supervise their kids properly and lock em away somewhere ! that'll reduce traffic congestion, free up some jobs, and generally tidy up the place a little !

But seriously - your right teach the kids how to ride safely and keep the guns locked away - i live in the UK and we have very strict gun laws here but like anything else, something only becomes dangerous when used by someone not capable of either using or controlling it properly or someone with malicious intent - and thats the problem - how do you spot those people ?

I have no idea what this question has to do with religion.

But almost all deaths from guns are from peoples' actions rather than accidents. The opposite is true of bikes.

That's why we should ban handguns (and all other guns for that matter). Americans make a big thing out of their "right" to carry a gun. But just because I have a bigger better gun than you doesn't mean I am safer than you.

Hmmm...not religious, but I will bite. Teach how to handle a bike and a gun. Safety first.

More people are killed fishing than hunting.

Long live the 2nd amendment and the Ruger Arms Company.

If you take away bikes, that makes another problem bigger. Pollution! If you take away bikes more people are going to use cars to get to places that saying. That equals more pollution. Bikes are a means of transportation. Do we ban cars? Do we ban WALKING for that matter! NO! Why take bikes? Handguns are meant for killing that's why you take them away.

you may actually argue if a ban might want to help, yet i might want to assert no. Stricter rules are what's mandatory, besides as making it harder to purchase guns. The heritage tests are a funny tale, it took me a lot less then 1/2-hour to purchase a shotgun. also, people want to be knowledgeable in gun safe practices. each hick in Texas teaches his little ones on the ripe youthful age of four the thanks to shoot, yet forgets the safe practices aspects. it truly is why there are such various injuries, too. Killing sprees are not straightforward to stay away from, regardless of stricter gun rules. If someone with the incorrect intentions needs to get a gun, properly, they receives it one way or the different. basically make it harder for them.

So do swimming pools and a multitude of other items as well. Anyone that says 'For the sake of the children' is usually trying to sell you something.

Bikes don't kill children - people who don't educate or supervise their kids, or who fail to drive carefully, kill children.

Guns don't kill people. People with guns kill people.

So let's ban people.
